Hi, I’m Sharon Odom — author, storyteller, and wellness enthusiast with a passion for real-life growth after 50.
In 2016, at age 60, I began a journey to reclaim my health, my energy, and my life. Over the next year, I lost 90 pounds through sustainable habits, daily self-care, and a mindset shift I call The Click — that moment when everything finally falls into place.
I share stories from that journey (and everything since) because I believe it’s never too late to rewrite your story. Whether it’s fitness, self-care, navigating relationships, or finding peace with the messy parts of life — I’m living proof that progress doesn’t have an expiration date.
You’ll find my voice woven through all the work I create:
In The Click: How I Lost 90 Pounds and Finally Found Fitness … After 60
In my Self Care Workbook for Women
And in my essays — honest reflections about life, wellness, and the beautifully imperfect road we all walk.
I’m an introvert, a late bloomer, and a firm believer in celebrating every step forward — no matter how small.
When I’m not writing or working out, you’ll probably find me curled up with a journal, experimenting with new puzzles for my True Crime Brain Games series (under my pen name Ciara Carrington), or dodging requests for spontaneous brunches. (Introvert life!)
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you’ll find something here that clicks for you too.
❤️
Sharon
